SwimBag have been delivering First Aid and Water Safety qualifications since 1999. We have recently had an increase in the numbers of courses within the Care Home environment. Alongside our open courses, the specific courses on this page are designed to assist Care Home Managers fulfil their training obligations.
We know that homes still need to function whilst training is going on. We also appreciate that space is limited and it is often difficult to release large numbers of staff at any one time. This is why we have a option for 2 courses per day.
To aid managers, our 3 hour Basic Life Support course exceeds the requirements of the Skills for Care Certificate Standard 12. Our trainers can sign your staff off for this part of the Care Certificate at the end of their training session.
All our trainers are experienced in teaching Health & Safety legislation to Leisure Centre staff. So adding the Care Certificate Standard 13 to our portfolio was an easy step, designed to help Care Home Managers further. We can now offer a full days training and cover both Standards 12 and 13.
Options include:
BLS (S12) for up to 6 and H&S (S13) for up to 6 - £432 inc VAT
BLS (S12) for up to 6 and H&S (S13) for up to 12 - £576 inc VAT
2 x BLS (S12) for up to 6 learners per session - £432 inc VAT
BLS (S12) or H&S (S13) in a 3 hour session for up to 6 - £288 inc VAT
