Emergency First Aid at Work EFAW

Emergency First Aid at Work - (EFAW)

The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations requires employers to have completed an Assessment of First Aid need. Where the risk is lower the recommended First Aid Qualification is the Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate.

Typically, the risk is lower where there are no vehicles and machinery involved.
Shops, Libraries, Schools and small office based businesses would fall into this category.

The EFAW course is conducted over 6 hours.

The HSE also strongly recommend Annual Refresher Session (3 hours) within the qualification period of any FAW or EFAW Certificate.
